<abstract>The plants of Papua New Guinea (PNGplants) is the electronic herbarium data of the plants collected from Papua (Indonesia), Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands, as held by the Queensland Herbarium (BRI), Australian National Herbarium (CANB), National Herbarium of New South Wales (NSW), National Herbarium of Victoria (MEL) and the Papua new Guinea National Herbarium (LAE). These data are provided online by the National Herbarium of New South Wales (NSW). The DiGIR implementation of PNGplants contains only the Darwin Core 2.0 compatible fields. The rest of the data can be obtained from the PNGplants website.</abstract>
